The Vigil Honor is the highest level of membership in our order. This honor is only reserved for those who best exemplify the Scout Oath and Law in their everyday lives and cheerfully serve their lodge, local community, and their affiliated Scouting organization to the best of their abilities. This level of membership is reserved solely for those who have made extraordinary contributions in the name of our order, and will continue to serve our organization to the fullest of their capabilities.

How does one attain Vigil Honor? You cannot simply seek and become a Vigil member on your own. The Vigil Honor is bestowed upon you. An arrowman must at least be Brotherhood member for two years. Instead, cast your vote based on how well the potential candidate has lived up to the aforementioned ideals, and whether or not he/she is worthy of recognition. When deciding on a candidate, do not consider tenure as a reason to recommend a possible candidate to Vigil Honor. It is strongly recommended that those who are selected to vote must be relatively dedicated to attending lodge events.

We will hold our Vigil Nomination Committee on Friday night of Spring Fellowship at the Wahissa Lodge Building. The VNC will start at 8:00p.m. and will end at 11:00p.m. . Each chapter must bring 4 voting delegates (Chapter Chief plus 3 arrowmen of his choice). If the chapter chief is eligible for Vigil, then somebody must be sent in his place. Only non-eligible members and already Vigil youth are allowed attend.
