OA Campfire & Call-out #5 (VIGIL)

Each Wednesday night during summer camp at Raven Knob Scout Reservation in Surry County, NC, Wahissa Lodge 118 presents an Ordeal candidate call-out ceremony and Native American dance pageant. These ceremonies define the Wednesday family night campfires attended by up to two thousand people in the Vaughn-Woltz Order of the Arrow Arena.

Specifically on 5th week, we recognize our newest Vigil Honor candidates. The Vigil Honor is the highest honor that the Order of the Arrow can bestow upon its members for service to lodge, council, and Scouting. Membership cannot be won by a person’s conscious endeavors.

Check out the Wednesday Night Call-Outs page for more information.
