Lodge Chief Update – Jan 2022

Brothers,

I am very excited to be serving you all as the 2022 Wahissa Lodge Chief! We have an exciting year ahead of us, and my team and I are working hard to provide the best program that we can! My main goal this year is to activate and retain our lodge members. However, this job cannot be done alone! We need all the help we can to increase our membership. I encourage you this year, reach out to a fellow brother, and ask them to come to a lodge event with you! Think of how much you enjoy all of our events, and reach out and invite more members to experience these incredible weekends. With that being said, we have a ton of events to look forward to this year. Here are some of the upcoming highlights:

  1. Winter Fellowship: Kick off the year right by attending the first Lodge Fellowship of the year! There will be service, AIA training, and a lot of fun to be had! There will also be an opportunity for all Ordeal members to seal their membership by getting their Brotherhood! Make sure to join us at CRK in March for a great weekend!

  1. Section SR-7B Conclave: The SR-7B Conclave is always a fantastic event, and this year it’ll be at Camp Tuscarora in Four Oaks on April 10th-12th. This is a huge gathering of brothers from across NC, with games, activities, shows, and a ton of fun! Bring your “A” game as we shoot to bring the Spirit Award back home, and keep your eyes open for some special spirit merch at Conclave!

  1. NOAC 2022: The National Order of the Arrow Conference (NOAC) is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity on July 25-30 at the University of Tennessee! Join the Wahissa Delegation and meet brothers from across the country in a week packed full of fun, training, and fellowship. You do not want to miss this!

As always, more information is online at wahissa.org. Get ready for a great year for our Lodge! I am excited to see what our new leadership can bring to you all this year. I look forward to seeing you all soon!
